History
Ultraseven
The TDF once constructed a base on the Moon, but it was destroyed by Petero, a monster controlled by an Alien Zamppa, who was seeking revenge on TDF members Kiriyama and Kurata, who had defeated them three years prior. When members of the UG arrived at the destroyed moon base, Alien Zamppa attempted to attack Captain Kurata. However, the teams uncovered this plot, successfully counterattacked, and defeated Alien Zamppa. Ultraseven engaged in a intense battle with Petero on the lunar surface. Despite being weakened by the harsh lunar environment, causing Ultraseven to lose his strength, a passing meteorite supplied him with a new source of energy, enabling him to defeat Petero. In the Heisei Ultraseven series, the TDF reconstructed the moon base over 30 years later. However, Alien Valkyrie, with the intention of launching an attack on Earth, opportunistically infiltrated the moon base. Leveraging its parasitic abilities, Alien Valkyrie gained control over a significant number of TDF soldiers, leading them to engage in self-destructive conflicts and resulting in the destruction of the moon base once again.

Ultraman Ace
The series reveals the existence of a civilisation on the Moon, inhabited by people who were almost identical to the humans of Earth. However, due to Lunaticks absorbing all the energy from the lunar magma, the Moon turned into a barren wasteland, leading to the destruction of the civilization.
In this catastrophe, the majority of the civilisation's people lost their lives. A few survivors made it to Pluto, where they awaited the day that they would be able to return to the Moon. In this series, a second lunar civilisation, comprised of beings called the Moon Aliens, is revealed to exist. 15 years prior to the events of the series, the Moon Aliens sent the heir to their throne, Kaguya, to Earth to ensure her safety, where she grew up believing that she was a human named Yayoi. After successfully defeating the dark forces threatening their kingdom over the course of 15 years, the Moon Aliens began preparations to welcome back Princess Kaguya, who was destined to lead them as their queen. Subsequently, the SKaRD piloted Earth Garon in an attempt to stop Varallon. Even with the intervention of Ultraman Blazar, Varallon continued to detonate all the bombs on the Moon.
