Swift is one of the four protagonists on Top Wing. He is the aviator cadet in charge of aerial rescues. His signature color is orange.

Trouble in the sky? Swift is your guy! Swift is a blue jay, and the unofficial leader of Team Top Wing. He loves racing, doing tricks and twirling through the air to show off his skills.
His goal is to be the fastest in the sky, whether he's piloting his Flash Wing or soaring the skies using his own wing power.
Physical Appearance
Swift is a young, thin, bright sky-blue-feathered Blue jay with almost the entirety of his head, along with the front of his face, colored in a shade of teal-blue with a tuft on top of his head, somewhat resembling that of a small mohawk. His chin, down to his neck and stomach, are colored in a light grayish-white, and he also possesses small tail feathers, small and thin dark-colored eyebrows, sky-blue eyes and a black beak. He is the tallest and arguably, the thinnest out of the cadets.
In Season 1 and in the first half of Season 2, Swift's original attire consists of an orange shirt with a distorted, darker orange "L" printed on the front, along with similarly-colored trim on the each of the short sleeves and around the collar, worn over a white shirt with orange elbow-patches on each of the long sleeves' elbows. He also wears a dark orange watch on his right wing, navy-black cargo pants with two pockets on each sides, and orange rubber shoes with the sides colored in white, and darker-colored laces and soles with yellowish-orange toes.
His Level 1 uniform consists of an orange and white helmet with darker orange accents and a microphone attached to it. He wears an orange button-up shirt with the back of the long sleeves colored in a darker shade, followed by a white inverted-triangle on his right sleeve and a silver pin adorning the right side of his shirt. He also wore white pants with thin dark orange stripes on the sides, a black belt with a gray buckle around his waist, and dark orange boots with three, much darker straps, soles and toes. His watch is strapped in its usual place.
In the second half of Season 2, Swift changes to an orange bomber jacket with both dark blue trim and a dark blue collar, along with a few patches placed on the sleeves and on the front. He also wears dark blue jeans and shoes similar to the ones from his previous attire, only this pair includes thin dark blue stripes on the front, along with white soles. His watch is strapped in its usual place.
His Level 2 uniform is somewhat more detailed than his previous uniform; he wears a helmet similar to the previous helmet, only it is colored in a brighter shade of orange with black accents. He now sports a detailed orange bomber jacket with dark orange, triangle-like stripes on the back of the black cuffs. His jacket also includes black, white and dark orange details adorning the bottom part, followed by a small dark orange inverted-triangle on the left side and his badge printed on his left sleeve, with a small metallic, orange and silver pin with darker orange details adorning the right side of his jacket. He also sport the same pants from his previous uniform, which is now held by a similar belt only it possesses a shimmering-silver design on it. His boots have a similar design to the previous pair, only the straps are colored in black. His watch is strapped in its usual place.
Personality
Swift is brave, daring and exuberant, being a pilot at heart as he is very passionate about flying and thus, takes his role as a Top Wing cadet very seriously. He is proven to be quick-thinking, especially in the air which he’s skilled at making fast decisions in the air, especially when navigating tricky situations.
Like the rest of Team Top Wing, he is helpful, kind and caring as he always give his best when helping or rescuing people in need. He is also fair and reasonable as he wants to do things the right way and not go against the rules, best exemplified during Great Ker-Splash Race where, when Baddy McBat kept insisting that they resort to cheating, Swift kept refusing and keeps on playing by the rules.
Despite being young at age, there are times where he can act very mature, as seen in Race Through Danger Canyon when he turns down a challenge Baddy through on him. However, this doesn't stop him from being playful, energetic and competitive, as he loves to race and challenge his abilities against his teammates.
Ultimately to go with his competitive nature, Swift can also be bold, impulsive and overconfident in his skills, which can lead to a few hasty decisions. This is prominently shown in Turtle Train Rescue where he tries to control the Aqua Wing by himself because he thought it was similar to piloting in the sky, thus resulting into almost crashing into the Turtle Train. However, he is genuinely not cocky and will own up for his mistakes, as near the end of the episode he looks guilty for not listening to Penny. This also showcase that, in spite of his flaws, he is proven to be humble.
Trivia
- Swift is the oldest and tallest of the cadets while Penny is the shortest and youngest.
- Swift is the only cadet with no known parents or siblings.
- In Season 1 and in the first half of Season 2, his legs and feet are colored yellow, but in Hasselhawg Swim Lesson onward, they are colored black. This might be because real life blue jays have black legs.
- He doesn't seem to have the black face markings like the real blue jays do.
