Matilda is a crocodile[1] serving as Captain Dilly's first mate.
Physical Appearance
Matilda is a young, short, green-skinned Crocodile who sports a snout with front teeth sticking out, and scales going down her tail. Her chin, down to her neck and stomach, are colored in a much brighter green, and she also possesses small black eyebrows and warm-brown eyes with short eyelashes.
Matilda's usual attire consists of a pink-striped bandana around her forehead, and a cropped, dark brown leather vest with two small golden buttons, which is worn over a sleeveless pink top over a mid-sleeved white shirt. She also wore gold-like yellow-orange wristbands on both her wrists, a dark pink sash around her waist, and dark-and-light gray-blue striped-pants. Like Captain Dilly, she is barefoot.
Personality
Much like Captain Dilly, Matilda is a greedy and thieving pirate who has a love for treasure, and will happily make plans to steal it.
Being a first mate, she is quite loyal to Dilly as the two seemed very close. Despite this, she can get annoyed when the captain doesn't give her credit or doesn't assist her when she needs help.
Matilda appears to be very assertive as she isn't afraid to be annoyed at Captain Dilly, and is also implied to be slightly braver than him. An example of that is during The Haunting of Pirate Cove where, when the pirates were confronted by a ghost (who is actually Rod in disguise), she confidently says she is not afraid of him, only becoming scared when they thought Captain Dilly's ship is haunted.
