Tobot Steel is a brand new Tobot introduced in the 3rd Season of Tobot: Daedo's Heroes. He is a red and blue Tobot that transforms into a mixer/dump truck, and is the core component for its combined form of Tobot Heavy Metal.
Appearance
Tobot Steel's vehicle model is a red & blue mixer/dump truck. His robot form is a humanoid with his upper body made of the truck's tractor with red arms from the mixer component, and the trailer composing the blue-colored legs. It has drills around his arms and legs, and has a blue head with a straight-line visor. In addition, his waist features an elephant motif.
Plagiarism Controversy
When Tobot Steel was revealed, his design received backlash from Tobot fans for being a blatant copy of Optimus Prime, it helps how he heavily resembles Optimus himself in design choices. Many Tobot fans commented that this Tobot's presence will potentially result in Young Toys getting into a feud with Hasbro & Takara Tomy, the creators of Transformers franchise.

- Part of the first assortment of Daedo's Heroes' third season wave, Tobot Steel transforms into a generic 3-axle dump truck with an optional cement mixer drum that forms his arms in robot mode. Sporting average articulation for a modern Tobot toy, Steel can combine with Tobot Iron and Tobot Chrome to form Heavy Metal, with Steel himself forming the legs, head, and torso. He comes with a drill accessory and his two shoulder spikes detach in vehicle mode to form a pair of road cones.
- Steel was only available in a single giftset also containing Iron and Chrome. None of the three were available separately.
Trivia
- Tobot Steel is one of the few Tobots to resemble a design from the Transformers franchise, namely Optimus Prime. He is the second overall after Adventure Y, who resembles Evac from Transformers: Cybertron of the Unicron Trilogy anime series.
