Caleb Hackett is (as a werewolf) a major antagonist in The Quarry.
Appearance
Caleb, in his human form, has fair skin, brown eyes, and short dark hair. In his werewolf form, he is large, has gray skin with red eyes, as well as a muzzle. Caleb's human form is seldom seen, and when seen he is naked save for a pair of underwear.
Personality
While not shown, Travis describes that Caleb was the one who set fire to the Harum Scarum site while trying to free Silas with his sister, Kaylee. During this, he was bitten by Silas, and became the first infected Hackett, infecting his father and sister soon afterwards. Not much is known about Caleb's personality in his human form. He is said to be a reclusive kid who spends his off season working at the scrapyard. When Travis talks about how the Hacketts should be in prison, Chris immediately assumes he's talking about a past crime Caleb committed with Bobby, possibly the deaths of the two hikers and a journalist. Bobby and Eliza can later confirm that the Hacketts have been using Bobby to kill people and to get rid of bodies. However, the details of what Caleb and Bobby did are kept vague.

- Caleb's actor is uncredited in the game. However, due to Metahuman files being found inside the game, this could mean that he does not have a real facial model.
- On the Hackett family tree, Caleb has the Male symbol beneath his name, but is listed as "Greatgreatgreatgreatgreatgreatgreat Grandaughter". See Errors.
- Despite being a reoccurring danger and possibly killing multiple counsellors, Caleb can actually survive the entire game: if Kaitlyn and Dylan are both infected in Chapter 10, Caleb will leave them alive if they fail to defeat him, and all three will be cured if Silas is killed.
- A similar option that works even if Dylan isn't bitten: if Kaitlyn lures Caleb into the freezer but she fails the QTE, Caleb and Kaitlyn will both be stuck in the freezer. Caleb will eat Kaitlyn unless she is infected.
- If Kaitlyn is infected, they will simply spend the night in the freezer, their infections keeping them alive as long as Silas is alive.
- If Silas is killed and Dylan is in the kitchen, he will always rescue cured Caleb from freezing, even if Caleb ate Kaitlyn, if Dylan isn't there, Caleb (and Kaitlyn if she isn't already) will die. However, given that players are encouraged to succeed in QTEs, this ending is commonly missed.
- A similar option that works even if Dylan isn't bitten: if Kaitlyn lures Caleb into the freezer but she fails the QTE, Caleb and Kaitlyn will both be stuck in the freezer. Caleb will eat Kaitlyn unless she is infected.
