Alternative ｢代行権利, orutanatibu, lit. "Proxy Rights"｣ is an Ultimate enchantment that the owner of Ultimate skill Michael can bestow upon any Spiritual life-form that gives their consent, granted they are capable enough and meet the minimum threshold of strength.
Abilities
The power of Alternative varies between each user, with it being a practical ultimate skill in its own right. It has a notable drawback in being less energy efficient than naturally acquired ultimate skills and other borrowed variants. Another limitation is that users are compelled to obey the orders of the owner of Michael. When the user meets certain conditions, Alternative can evolve to a different enchantment by merging with their pre-existing powers.

- Absolute Superiority over Magic and Unique skills ｢魔法やユニークスキルに対する絶対優位, mahō ya yunīku sukiru ni taisuru zettai yūi｣: Given to Bernie.[1]
- Complete Concealment of Own Powers ｢自己の権能の完全隠蔽, jiko no ken'nō no kanzen inpei｣: Given to Jiwu.[1]
- Dominion Bullet ｢支配の呪弾, dominion buretto｣: Given to Tatsuya Kondou. Bullets that only affect the mind of the target(s) and embedded in their souls, dominating and controlling them. Because it's set higher than other Alternatives, it cannot be resisted using Alternatives. However, those with strong spiritual powers such as Demon lord seeds can resist it, requiring the user to shoot them when they are asleep or in an excited state such as blinded by desire or overwhelmed with negative feelings like anger or grief.[2]
- Enemy Identification ｢敵状看破, tekijō kanpa｣: Given to Granit. Analyzes and determines the capabilities of the user's opponent. Specifically, it allows the user to gauge the opponent's strength from their Magicule count.[3]
- Parallel Existence ｢並列存在, heiretsu sonzai｣: Given to Gardner.[4]
- Soul Protect ｢魂の保護, sōru purotekuto｣: Given to Damrada. A soul protection against any kind of spiritual attack with an impenetrable psychological barrier.[2]
- Subjugation Conquest ｢討伐制覇, tōbatsu seiha｣: Given to Garcia. Transforms the user's intent to defeat their enemy into a strong fighting spirit carrying the holy alignment. In practice, this purifies all kinds of evil spirits and daemons. The user also experiences a boost in strength the more they provoke their opponent.[4]
