Chapter 6

"Ai-chan, Part 4" (アイちゃん④, Ai-chan 4) is the sixth chapter of the Tawawa on Monday manga. Onii-san visits Ai-chan at her workplace as she's working as a part-time waitress.

Synopsis

Onii-san goes to visit Ai-chan at "Bakery Restaurant Tawawa". She greets him formally in work mode wearing a cafe worker uniform consisting of a buttoned shirt and an apron. Onii-san notes that although the uniform isn't especially revealing, it still somehow draws attention to her breasts. He's relieved to see most customers are women and not just ogling men. Ai-chan brings him the menu and briefly breaks character to tell him they will get some fresh bread at six o'clock and she will give some to take home as a souvenir. Onii-san jealously observes the other male patrons looking at Ai-chan. When he's ready to order and Ai-chan comes over to him, he notices a button is about to come loose, so he whispers to Ai-chan that another keepsake button is about to be created. Ai-chan rushes to fix her outfit in the changing room. Onii-san finishes his coffee and leaves, when he hears Ai-chan call his name. He sees Ai-chan run after him with one of her buttons replaced with a safety pin, and holding a paper bag. Ai-chan reminds him that she was meaning to give him some bread as a keepsake. Onii-san tells her she looked cute and so cool that it inspired him to work harder too. As they part, Ai-chan notes the souvenirs were freshly made. Onii-san opens to bag to see two loaves of bread along with a freshly popped button.
