Ashley Hayden is a contestant from Survivor South Africa: Santa Carolina.
The strategic center of the game, Ashley started as a member of the Timbila majority and helped to dictate many of the pre-merge votes. After the merge, she continued to play hard by forming a women's alliance with GiGi van Schalkwyk and Sade Giliberti. By strategically weaponizing the past votes tiebreaker and embarking on a streak of immunity wins, she met little resistance on her march to the Final Two. However, at the Final Tribal Council, Ashley's history of deceptive gameplay was reviled by the jury, causing her to lose the title of Ultimate Survivor to the better liked GiGi.

- Ashley set the record for the most individual Immunity Challenge wins in a single season of Survivor South Africa, winning five over the course of Santa Carolina. This was later tied by Rob Bentele in Island of Secrets and Chappies Chapman in Immunity Island.
- Across English-language series of Survivor, this continues to be the record for most individual Immunity Challenges won by a woman in a single season, matched only by Brooke Jowett in Australian Survivor: All Stars and Hayley Leake in Australian Survivor: Brains v Brawn (2021).
- Ashley is the first woman to find the Hidden Immunity Idol, as well as the first person to leave their idol to expire unused.
