The Kingdom of Yuria is the setting of the first two Golden Axe video games and possibly the story Citadel of Dead Souls, although it is not really elaborated on. All that is known about the land is that they own the Golden Axe (which was made by the dwarf people of Rockguard with enchanted metal) and that it was invaded by both Death Adder and Dark Guld. The manual expands on this, stating that the Golden Axe is the magical emblem of Yuria and Death Adder will destroy both it and the royal family if they do not accept him as a ruler. The royal family is never seen in Sonic the Comic, as the Golden Axe is always delivered or stolen off panel.
