Enchanted metal is a mysterious material from The Legend of the Golden Axe owned by the dwarf people of Hammerynth. Silver in colour, just a little bit of the unnamed mineral added to normal gold can produce powerul weapons. Due to having been created by being infused with magic, an enchanted spear was a weapon used by magic user Queen Silpantia-Dragontamer in her defense of the Hammerynth creche. Wizard priest Cobraxis invaded the caverns in order to find the metal and kidnapped Silpantia, since she was the only person who knew the location of the hoarde. Silpantia refused to yield and Cobraxis was eventually killed. In thanks for their great deeds, Gilius-Thunderhead and Yuki-Plantcharmer were taken down to the secret chamber and awarded daggers made from the enchanted metal.

- In other universes, the dwarf metal may be replaced with fictional metals such as adamantium or mithril. Sonic the Comic's metal, however, remains unnamed.
