Cola is a carbonated drink consumed on both Planet Earth and Mobius. It is a popular drink with heroes, particularly with Sonic the Hedgehog. He has been seen drinking it in "Happy Christmas Doctor Robotnik" (namely "Koala Kola" and "Fizz Pop") and "Running Wild", when hiding out at Spike's Place. The former was referenced in Issue 261's Control Zone, with Megadroid offering to buy everyone a Koala Kola. Amy Rose also commented on her liking of the drink, asking if Sonic would like to share one with her in "Metamorphia".
In media related to Sonic the Comic, Sonic has been seen drinking cola in "Double Sonic" and mentioned it in Sonic's Diary. He has also referred to "shaking up a bottle of cola" when destroying a trap in "Hero of the Year".
