Staga were large, horned animals[1] native to the planet Ambria.[2] They were transported to the planet Taanab as a farm stock along with other creatures during the settlement of the planet as an agricultural outpost in 2320 BBY, where they were found in the pens of the meat-processing plants near the temperate poles.[1] Staga meat was used in the dish Salted Staga-Sub.[3]
