- "Oz is down."
"So is Ringo." - ―Two clone troopers checking Ringo and Oz after they stepped on mines
Ringo was a clone trooper who served in the Grand Army of the Republic during the Clone Wars as part of the 501st Legion. During the Battle of Umbara, Ringo participated in a risky advance orchestrated by Jedi General Pong Krell. As the troop proceeded down a main road, Ringo and fellow trooper Oz were killed by mines that were set by the enemy Umbarans. Soon after, the rest of the unit was ambushed and driven back by the Umbarans.[3] Eventually, the 501st won the fight for the planet after a long conflict.[4]
