R4-M1[3] was an R4 astromech droid who served the Galactic Republic and Jedi Order during the Clone Wars. When Anakin Skywalker and Mace Windu were trapped in the wreckage of the Endurance at Vanqor, R2-D2, arriving at the Jedi Temple on Coruscant to play their distress message, jostled the R4 unit as he sped past.[1]
History
Roaming the Temple
In 21 ABY, R4 was roaming the temple with R5-S9 when R2-D2 bumped into them on his way to deliver a message.[1]
