The churi was a large avian native to Endor, a forested moon orbiting a planet of the same name. Logray, the shaman of the Ewok Bright Tree Village, wore a headdress made from the skull of a churi[1] and his apprentice Teebo wore churi feathers atop a gurreck skull headdress.[3] The ewoks used a tool known as a churi bird caller to call churi birds.[4]
