Cail-tan was a human X-wing starfighter pilot for the New Republic. Around 9 ABY their squadron was deployed to the planet At Attin in order to repel a group of pirates that had invaded.

Biography

Cail-tan was a human who served in the New Republic as an X-wing starfighter pilot. During the New Republic Era, the astronomer Kh'ymm contacted the New Republic on behalf of a group of younglings who where requesting help from a group of pirates that had invaded their home planet At Attin. Their squadron of eight T-65 X-wing starfighters was deployed along with two A/SF-01 B-wing starfighters and a CR90 corvette to repeal the pirates.

As they approached the planet and the pirate frigate, Commander Kent instructed the squadron to lock their S-foils in attack positions. Cail-tan further set their fighter's deflector shield to double forward. Afterward the squadron began their attack on the pirate frigate. The squadron eventually destroyed the frigate which crashed down into the city below.[1]

Personality and traits

Cail-tan had tan skin, long brown hair and brown eyes. During their attack on the pirates on At Attin they had their hair braided and draped to their right side.[1]

Equipment

Cail-tan wore an blue flight suit with and a white K-22995 light flight helmet. The helmet had a yellow strip between two blue stripes down the center of the helmet with a yellow New Republic starbird symbol on each side of it. They had a red and blue victory decal on each side of their helmet.[1]

Behind the scenes

Cail-tan was portrayed by Caitlan Shera Moore in "The Real Good Guys,"[1] the eighth episode of the Disney+ live-action series Star Wars: Skeleton Crew, which aired on January 14, 2025.[2] The character's name is not spoken in the episode but was listed in the credits.[1]
