The Walker, a bipedal assault vehicle, is a usable vehicle from Star Fox Zero, which was originally supposed to be in Star Fox 2. Its main use is for land based support, by changing the Arwing into a land walking system. It is the alternative system of the Arwing. The Walker allows for more maneuverability inside of confined spaces.
Reminiscent of the "Chicken Walker" the Arwing transforms into the Walker as follows: the Arwing's cockpit rises up while the nose of the Arwing becomes the tail. The G-Diffusers half into arms and legs, and the wings stay normal. Feet appear from the bottom of the G-Diffusers and a small turret comes out.
To counter the Walker, the Star Wolf team's Wolfen are able to transform into a counterpart vehicle called The Hunter, which is their own alternative transformation when needing to battle on the ground.
Trivia
The Walker's feet resemble the "feathered fingers" seen on Falco's Sky Claw in Command.
Is also sometimes referred to by fans as "The Chicken wing" in reference to its' walking animation.
