Tubelets are robots that appear as enemies in the video game Battle for Bikini Bottom and its remake, Battle for Bikini Bottom: Rehydrated as the thirteenth robot SpongeBob, Patrick and Sandy encounter in their adventures. In their introductory cutscene, a Bikini Bottomite is shown dodging the robots' flamethrower, then proceeds to throw his hat onto the bottom one, only for the robots to retaliate by blasting him away, while unintentionally causing a platform to collapse onto them.
Description
Battle for Bikini Bottom
Tubelets are robots that wear a striped red/white helicopter hat and have lime-green eyes. They also ride on a pink hippo floaty with purple spots.
Battle for Bikini Bottom: Rehydrated
Tubelets appear more round than in the original game, and their floaties are green dragons with small horns, a yellow underbelly, purple spots and a bandage wrapped around their mouths. Their eyes are also red instead of green.

Role in game
Tubelets are rare enemies that first appear in the Kelp Forest and also appear in the Flying Dutchman's Graveyard and SpongeBob's Dream. They are always seen in groups of three, stacked on top of each other. The bottom one attacks by shooting flames from the mouth of their floaties while spinning. Each Tubelet only takes one hit to defeat, but all three Tubelets have to be destroyed very quickly, otherwise the destroyed Tubelets will respawn and retaliate with a blast attack. Tubelets drop ninety Shiny Objects when the group of three is destroyed.
Trivia
- If the console is set to a certain date, the Tubelets' flames will be different colors.[1]
- On January 1st (New Year's Day), the flames will be rainbow-colored.
- On March 17th (Saint Patrick's Day), the flames will be green.
- On April 1st (April Fool's Day), the flames will be pink.
- On July 4th (Independence Day), the flames will be red, white, and blue.
- On October 31st (Halloween), the flames will be yellow and orange.
