— Queen Karen, "Snow Yellow"
Character

Queen Karen is a character who appears as the main antagonist in the episode "Snow Yellow."

Appearance

She has a robotic body designed to look like a portable wheeled computer with detachable robot arms, wearing a small crown and a black cloak.

When she is a witch, she wears a cloak, a witch's hat, and a green witch mask.

Role in episode

In the story Snow Yellow and the Seven Jellies, she is the main villain and Snow Yellow's stepmother. At the beginning of the tale, Snow Yellow wakes Queen Karen from her morning update with his singing, who sends him to clean the royal restroom. Karen notices that Snow Yellow is squarer than usual, so she immediately goes to the Magic Mirror to confirm if she is still the squarest of them all. Upon learning that Snow Yellow is squarer than her, she devises a plan and hires the Huntsman to cut off Snow Yellow's corners with scissors.

The Huntsman, however, fails and lies to Karen, claiming he has trimmed Snow Yellow. Karen consults the mirror again, which reveals that the Huntsman did not tell her the truth. Karen has the Huntsman fed to an alligator and decides to take matters into her own hands. She disguises herself as a witch and dips a poisonous chum into candy frosting.

She meets Snow Yellow at the Seven Jellies' hive and asks to use the bathroom. Afterward, she persuades Snow Yellow to taste the chum, which causes him to become completely dehydrated. One of the jellyfish, Dummy, returns home, warns the others, and together, they pursue the fleeing Karen. Karen reaches her castle and climbs to the top of the tower, but the jellyfish catch up with her and tear her apart using screwdrivers. At the end of the story, she reappears in a wrecked condition, enjoying Snow Yellow's song with the Seven Jellies.
