Minister

Character

The minister^[1] is a sea star who appears in the episodes "Rule of Dumb," "Klopnodian Heritage Festival," "Tying the Klop-Knot," and the book Mistaken Identity. He visits Patrick to tell him that he descended from royalty.

Description

He is a coral pink starfish who has a black, curly mustache and sideburns and wears a black suit with a blue bowtie, and a black top hat with a purple stripe.

"Rule of Dumb"

He first appears when he tells SpongeBob and Patrick that the latter is descended from royalty.

He appears again near the end of the episode, only to be confronted by Patrick, who does not want the crown anymore. The starfish minister tells Patrick that power comes with great responsibility and that he actually came back to tell Patrick he is not the rightful heir to the crown. He takes out the paper showing Patrick's family tree, and wipes off a coffee stain, revealing that Gary is the rightful heir to the crown.

The minister gives the crown to Gary, much to his delight.

"Klopnodian Heritage Festival"

He is seen running the Stew on a Stick stand at the Klopnodian Heritage Festival.

"Tying the Klop-Knot"

He attends Bunny and Cecil's second wedding.
