Prudence "Pru" Granger is one of the three main characters of Spirit Riding Free. She is the horse trainer of the group. Her father, Al Granger, is a horse wrangler and the largest purveyor of horses in Miradero. Pru is best friends with Lucky and Abigail and has a mare named Chica Linda.
Her mother Fannie Granger is veterinarian and treats animals.
The only child in the Granger Family.

Physical Appearence
Pru is a tall, attractive girl. She has dark brown hair and brown eyes.
Personality
Pru has a competitive and headstrong nature. Pru is just slightly younger than Lucky, her twelfth birthday having coming some months after Lucky's in the summer.[1] Although this may be in the TV series only, as she's already 12 in the books and so would be 13 before Lucky in the books' timeline.
She cares about her friends and is always there for them. She understood, dressage is her passion and professional path. She believes that one day she will be a dressage champion.
Characteristic
Pru has owned Chica Linda's saddle, made by Turo, since she was eight years old.[2]
Meeting Chica Linda and becoming friends with her was the best thing that happened in Pru Granger's life. She told her friends Lucky and Abi about how she and Chica Linda became close friends.
Besides her parents, Pru appears to be an only child, and doesn't seem to have any other relatives in Miradero. The most important and only people in Pru's life and heart are: father AL, mother Fannie, mare Chica Linda. Pru loves riding her mare Chica Linda. Pru understands with her friends Javier and Mixtli. New opportunities have opened up for Prudence "Pru" Granger in the sport of dressage.
Pru cares for her friends Lucky and Abigail and is always there for them. Member of a group called PAL. Frontier Fillies. She promised to wear an elf hat every day especially for Al's father and Fannie's mother. She is the brains of the PAL team and knows everything about everything. Close friend of Chica Linda, adventurous.
