Frank is a classmate of Snips, Eduardo, Becky, Mary Pat, Bianca in the Miradero Schoolhouse. Frank is monotonic and laconic. He has a lucky almond and a predilection for onions.
He is the acquaintance of Lucky, Pru, Abigail, Maricela, Julian.

Frank sold onions at his booth for the school bazaar.[1]
Frank is a former winner of the Student of the Month award.[1]
Frank gave Lucky's Cousin Julian a quarter his Daddy gave him when his tooth came out for use in improving the roller coaster.[2]
For Christmas, Frank's Ma makes a cake with one lucky almond in it, and whichever member of his family is served the piece with the almond will supposedly have good luck all year. Frank got the almond the Christmas in the year prior to Lucky's relocation to Miradero, and showed the almond at school show & tell the following year. He guessed it had been a pretty good year for him, since he had planted a new onion garden.[3]
Frank played a cloud in the school's production of The Whispering Vaquero.[4]
Frank's mom said he should express my feelings, so for his New Year's resolution in Lucky's first winter living back in Miradero, Frank resolved to write a haiku, and afterward aspired to be a poet when he grew up. He presented his haiku to the class on the day before New Year's Eve at the end of that year: "Inside, I have thoughts / Thoughts and some feelings also / Mom, I don't like beets".[5]
In Lucky and the Endless Possibilities his name is listed on the board as wanting to be an almond farmer.
