The Spin Ramp[1] is a gimmick that appears in the Sonic Boom series. It is a ramp that can be used by Sonic the Hedgehog to traverse the environments in the game.
Description
The Spin Ramp is presented as a yellow and blue arrow-marked ramp that goes up a vertical wall.
Overview
In Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric, the Spin Ramp are attached to the walls and ceilings. In gameplay, they serve as a way for the player to reach higher areas using Sonic's specific character abilities. When using it, Sonic must enter a Spin Dash in front of it. Once the Spin Dash is appropriately charged, release it to send Sonic shooting up along the Spin Ramp, thus sending him rolling upwards into the air. From there, the player can reach higher areas.
To use the Spin Ramp, the player must press 
to Spin Dash and then release the button to launch Sonic up the ramp.
