The Rebellion[1] is a group that appears in the Sonic Boom series. It is a small resistance cell on Seaside Island that opposes the tyranny of Lord Eggman's rule.
History
TV series
Past
When Lord Eggman conquered Seaside Island, the Rebellion arose to fight Eggman's tyranny. Sticks the Badger herself assumed leadership over the group.[1]
Season two
When the Rebellion began to make waves, Amy Rose, a member of the group, broke Sonic the Hedgehog, a visitor from another dimension, out of jail after witnessing his bravery when he stood up to Lord Eggman. Amy brought Sonic to the Rebellion's camp where Sticks offered him membership. Sonic agreed to help and promptly assembled a team made up of both Rebellion members and new recruits that were able to defeat Eggman for the first time when they invaded Eggman's lair. Certain that the Rebellion now had a team that could overthrow Eggman's rule in no time, Sonic returned home in the aftermath.[1]
