The Hyper Uppercut[1] (ハイパーアッパー Haipā Appā?, lit. Hyper Upper) is a move that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. It is a move used by Knuckles the Echidna and Honey the Cat.
Description
The user performs an uppercut while jumping forward, damaging the opponent if it lands.
To perform the move, the player has to activate Hyper Mode and input 
.
Overview
Upon using the move, the player will perform a jumping uppercut. If hits the opponent, it will damage them. The move can then be quickly followed up by Dual Hyper Upper if that move's command is performed directly afterward.
In initial releases of Sonic the Fighters on arcade systems and in Sonic Gems Collection, Knuckles was the only character who could use the move. It wasn't until the 2012 remaster of the game that Honey can use it as well.
