The Air Spin (エアスピン Ea Supin?), also known as the Wobbling Spin Jump,[1] is Sonic's netrual aerial attack that appears in Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS and Wii U and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
Description
While Sonic is in the air he curls up and spins around rapidly in place to attack and launch away enemy fighters.
Trivia
- This is based on Sonic's Air Spin from the Arcade fighting game, Sonic the Fighters.
- This is also loosely based off of the Spin Jump which originated from the original Sonic the Hedgehog.
- This attack looks similar to the Insta-Shield from Sonic 3 & Knuckles.
