"Broken" is an unused song from Shadow the Hedgehog. It was originally going to be the Semi-Hero ending song for the game, but was replaced with "The Chosen One". It was cut because SEGA could not get in contact with the lead singer (Wylie Beacher) in time.^[1]

• On January 2nd, 2023, a prototype build of Shadow the Hedgehog for the Xbox version was found and released, with the disc having "Beta 4" written on it. In the game's files, the song can be found and played when either the boss of Cosmic Fall is defeated as the credits roll.^{[citation needed]}
