Cal McGill is a character in the System Shock 2 short story. She is a senator for the Unified National Nominate.
Background
Despite her position on the UNN council, Cal McGill is on a TriOptimum payroll.
McGill was elected the chairman of a senate sub-committee concerning Marie Delacroix's development of Sarah, a device to facilitate faster-than-light travel. McGill, during the hearing, attempted to discredit Janice Polito, who objected to TriOptimum's rushing the Von Braun mission. McGill is responsible for authorizing TriOptimum's premature deployment of Sarah and the Von Braun.
