Chapter 3 is the third chapter of the Sewayaki Kitsune no Senko-san manga.
Summary
Chapter 3 (Third Tail) introduces Kuroto Nakano's neighbor, Yasuko Kouenji, and adds a new dynamic to the story.
In this chapter, Kouenji, who is a university student, begins to notice strange noises coming from Kuroto’s apartment. She lives next door and, until now, hasn’t interacted much with him. Due to the unusual sounds coming from his apartment (as Kuroto is spending time with Senko), Kouenji becomes suspicious that something strange might be happening. Due to the loud and unusual noise Kouenji barges into Nakako's apartment. Due to misunderstandings Kouenji trys to call the cops on Kuroto before Senko evaulates everything (wrongly) and persuades her to have some of her homemade meal with them. Easing Kouenji and gaining her trust thinking that Senko is just cosplaying as Inari Shoujo Youko-Chan (Little Yoko).
Kouenji is depicted as a carefree, slightly eccentric character who is absorbed in her own hobbies, particularly her interest in anime and manga. She even comments to herself that Kuroto might be involved in something odd, given the sounds she overhears. However, she doesn't investigate too deeply and mostly shrugs it off as part of her quirky, hands-off attitude.
Meanwhile, Kuroto and Senko continue their interactions, with Senko maintaining her role of caring for Kuroto. Kouenji’s presence adds a new layer of humor and tension, as Kuroto becomes worried that his neighbor might discover the truth about Senko—who is a supernatural being living in his apartment.
