Biography
Early Life
Henry Kessler was a man working for The Pederson Project, a company founded by Dr. Cecilia Pederson, the daughter of a recognized doctor named Finn Pederson, with the goal of tricking sick people into thinking that their diseases can be cured with an special treatment and so scam them out of their money. Henry's job was to go into cancer support meetings faking to have cancer himself in order to meet new targets for the group. With the help of Gabriela, Mateo, Valentina, Diego and Parker Sears, the Pederson Project had made over eight million dollars over the course of eight years, via scamming thirty four patients. Giving hope
One day, Henry participated in another meeting in which one of the attendants was John Kramer, alias the Jigsaw Killer. After a woman named Chris finished telling her story, the leader asked if anyone else wanted to say something. Henry introduced himself and told his fake story about having terminal stage 4 pancreatic cancer, but that despite everything, he would keep fighting to the end.
Four months later, Henry followed John with his bike to a coffee shop, where he was signing his last testament. Henry parked his bike and ordered a blueberry scone to the shop's owner. As he was leaving, John recognized Henry and greeted him, to which Henry did as well. When John questioned him about his cancer, Henry saw the opportunity to trick him and told him that he was now in complete remission. John was curious, so they both sat on the table and Henry accepted to tell John his supposed story. He began telling John about how he read about doctor Finn Pederson, who offered him a treatment involving a surgery and a drug cocktail. Henry then showed John a scar on his abdomen, result of the alleged treatment, and reassured that to him it was worth it calling it his "war wound". When John asked if the treatment was available in the United States, Henry denied it, as the medication was supposedly not approved by the FDA nor any kind of government, and that he hadn't seen Pederson since he finished his treatment in Norway. However, Henry wrote down on a napkin a link to the project's website and handled it to john, assuring it's still active. Before he left, Henry gave John his support and wished him luck, to which John was thankful for. (Saw X)

John ultimately ended up traveling to Mexico and received the treatment, but not long after found out about the truth behind it, which crushed all his hopes. Because of this, John decided to make the members of the Pederson Project his next targets, and with the help of two former victims of his turned accomplices: Amanda Young and Detective Mark Hoffman, he located and kidnapped all of them for a game located in the same, abandoned chemical plant where John was treated.
After the game was over, John returned to the United States, and with the help of Hoffman, located and kidnapped Henry for his very own test. Henry was taken to an abandoned, underground bathroom, gagged, without his shirt and hanging from the ceiling, along with a device with 5 blades attached to his abdomen. When the lights turned on, Henry woke up and panicked. John slowly approached him and teased him, looking at his now intact belly and asking him where was his scar. Hoffman turned Henry facing the other side, and while removing his gag, mocked him for choosing John out of all men to cheat, to which in his opinion was "epic bad luck". Henry begged John to not kill him, to which John replied that he wouldn't need to worry about that, and that he wanted to play a game. Suddenly, the device activated and its blades began rotating, while descending towards Henry's abdomen, prompting him to scream. (Saw X)
