Lorenzo is a member of the Blues and Reds, a group of Simulation Troopers that are very similar to the Reds and Blues of Blood Gulch. Like Lopez, Lorenzo is a robot who speaks a foreign language: Italian.
Role in Plot
He and the rest of his team perform terrorist attacks ten months following the Chorus-Charon War, seemingly in vengeance for the UNSC's actions towards Project Freelancer personnel.
At some point, he and the Blues and Reds encounter Dylan and Jax on Sidewinder and immediately begin to attack the two, with Lorenzo using a turret. He later appears with the Blues and Reds during their encounter with the Reds and Blues in A Fistful of Colours, eventually allying with them. When the two teams grab supplies at a mining rig, Lorenzo suggests to Lopez that the two should "pull a Westworld" on their teams. Lopez ignores this.
During the Blues and Reds final attack, Lorenzo and Cronut are sent out first to defend against the Reds and Blues. Lorenzo is distracted by Jax in the fight, allowing Tucker to board the tank and decapitate Lorenzo. His head is kicked into the distance by Tucker, while his body is destroyed in the tank explosion.
Trivia
- Gene and Lorenzo are the only members of the Blues and Reds who sounds exactly like their counterparts. This is due to them sharing the same voice actors as their original counterparts.
- Coincidentally, they are also both the only members of the Blues and Reds who are neither confirmed dead or imprisoned.
