Hutch was a soldier of a Red Army squadron, first appearing in Grey vs. Gray.
Role in Plot
He, along with 6 other soldiers, was locked in a room with the doors only opening if the seven troopers in the room could reach an agreement. Acting as the mediator, Hutch was the one who came up with the idea of locking the door until peace was achieved. When he blocks Deuce from bashing the door open, claiming “You’re leaving over my dead body”, the lights go out and he mysteriously dies which subsequently leads to a series of accusations ultimately leading to the demises of everyone originally locked in the room with him.
It is then revealed that Hutch died of a heart attack after the lights went out, despite everybody in the room claiming each to have shot him.
Personality
Being the negotiator between the teams, keeping them locked in the room and giving out orders suggest Hutch is the leader of this Red squad.
Trivia
- Hutch was the only soldier amongst those in Grey vs. Gray who was not confirmed to be colorblind, as he died before it could be established or not.
- Hutch speak in a mid-Atlantic accent reminiscent of 1930s radio.
