Weapons
- SKL-6: A destructive pump-action shotgun that destroys target at closer ranges. Along with the Arbitrator, it is one of the more powerful shotguns and can instantly down [most] targets upon an accurate headshot. For Chaac, it power fits well for combating enemies with the combination of extending his health and refilling his ammo upon downs.
- D40-C: An SMG that deals good moderate damage and has a great mag size for an SMG. This SMG is best effective when hipfiring, as the range is low and recoil if fairly high.
- Spitfire: A pistol .
Abilities
- Rage: Chaac's main ability, which has multiple uses. He can activate this ability to:
- Overheal himself. This will proceed his health over 100 or max up to 175, so long as his health is 26 or above. Most times, you would active this when you expect to fight an enemy. You would also use this to tank damage, such as explosives or shots from shotguns or snipers;
- Regain 75 health to your base health bar. In any case of getting to low health, you would active the ability to skip the wait time on health regeneration;
- Self revive. If allies are too far away or too busy occupied in a fight, this is when you would self revive. It could also allow Saint to spare his Revive Drone for another teammate.
- Grit: Chaac passive ability. This will grant Chaac more time to revive himself or to roll to cover to be revived by a teammate.
Gadgets
Semtex Grenade: A grenade that is best used for aggressive play and for quick eliminations.
- Flashbang: A gadget that is also used for aggressive play. Adding to Chaac's aggressiveness, this provides him a breaching-like playstyle, able to achieve pushes better than other Duelists.
Perks
- Chaac's perks focus on strengthening his combat benefits, ability and gadget use, and survivability.
- Life Drain, Replenish, and Stalker strengthens Chaac's combat benefits, allowing him to move quicker and engage the next fight with higher odds. In addition, Life Drain gives Chaac health back so that he won't be forced to used his ability to regain his health.
- Energized and Gadgeteer increases Chaac's use of his ability and gadgets. This allows Chaac to put more pressure onto his enemies.
- Shredder Rounds increases his damage output.
Strategy
Chaac has the appropriate arsenal to charge into the enemy team and get multiple kills, potentially taking down the entire enemy team with ease. Using close combat weapons, he enters in engagements, with Life Drain and Replenish immediately giving him the health and ammo that he lost from the previous fight. However, his aggressiveness could also lead to his downfall if not careful enough. His persistence and pressure would lead to enemies focusing on him and taking him out first. He fails in long ranged fights and can easily lose one of his ability if he is hit by an EMP or hacked.
Strengths
- Great aggressive power;
- Impressive survivability;
- Self revive can clutch.
Weaknesses
- Susceptible to utility gadgets and reveals;
- Suffers at long range;
- May be targeted by many enemies.

Story

Chaac, formerly a ruthless vigilante, makes up for his regretful past by bringing justice to those in need. He is not one to shy from battle and always seems to be at his best when the odds are stacked against him. Despite his hardened exterior, Chaac has a soft spot for anyone he deems innocent, and will stop at nothing to protect them.
Background

Before joining Rogue Company, Chaac fought crime in a city located in the Yucatán Peninsula, Mexico. He took the law into his own hands, becoming a vigilante. Something happened to Chaac during his crime-fighting spree, causing him to be buried alive; he was presumably thought to have been dead. Later, he dug his way out of his grave, ''coming back from the dead'', and left his life behind. Chaac was also shot in the head in his past and survived, which likely led to him being pronounced dead and buried, but this remains unproven. Now Chaac seeks redemption for something unspecified he did in his past and uses Rogue Company as a tool to eradicate corruption. Chaac is still considered a local hero in the city he once fought to protect and his grave keeps being decorated with marigolds and visited to this day.[1]
Coming home
Chaac and Gl1tch were dispatched by Rogue Company to the city where Chaac used to fight crime as a vigilante. The Governor of the town had struck a deal with Jackal to suppress the unruly population in a desperate attempt to retain their power. Once Rogue company arrived, the heart of the town was left in ruins,[1] streets were cleared and Jackal containers filled with attack dogs were set up all around the city. The Rogues were tasked with helping the populace and putting a stop to Jackal.[1]

Sometime later, presumably after having dealt with the corrupt governor and Jackal, the pair learned that there was something important in that town and decided to go after it. They headed to a building in the area that contained a computer with important data.[1] Gl1tch had successfully extracted it on a flash drive, but on their way out they were ambushed by a high-ranking Jackal operative, Umbra. He had followed them in the shadows and was tasked to retrieve the data for Jackal. Gl1tch and Chaac did their best efforts to beat Umbra, but they proved to be no match. After beating the Rogues, Umbra attempted to execute Gl1tch but he was thwarted by Glimpse, who had just come out of her cloaking to interfere. A struggle quickly ensued between Umbra and Glimpse, and eventually, she managed to knock him to the ground. The Jackal operative took that as an opportunity to escape with the flash drive containing the data, which he did successfully. Glimpse quickly assured the Rogues that they were safe now but Gl1tch explained now the data was in the hands of Umbra, no one was safe.[2]

Trivia
- Chaac's name is derived from the Mayan god of rain, thunder, and lightning, also called Chaac. His name possibly hints at him having Mayan roots. It is unclear if there are any other overlaps between the Rogue and the Mayan god.
- During early development, Chaac was originally known as "Phoenix".
- Chaac's face paint resembles the Mexican holiday known as "Dia de los Muertos" (Day of the Dead). White face paint, black paint around the eyes and a spider web painting on the forehead are used in the tradition.
- Chaac only wears a single pad on his legs, placed on his right thigh. His "just a flesh wound" quote may refer to him having an injury there while no longer being held back by it.
