Mania

Mania (plural: maniae) are spirits personifying insanity, madness, and crazed frenzy. They operate closely with Lyssa, the spirit of mad rage, frenzy and rabies. They are presumed to be daughters of Nyx and are associated with the Furies, the three fearsome goddesses of vengeance. However, they can also be the souls of the dead who were driven mad prior to their death. They can be killed by Imperial Gold, like all other monsters, as shown when Reyna killed her father, Julian. However, it is the only metal capable of killing them with not even Stygian Iron having an effect on them.
