The song, with all other Juno tracks, was first introduced August 17th, 2021 on all of Remi's social media as she announced the tracklist.[2]
Theme
This song describes the difficult process of healing, presumably from a breakup. Remi writes about various coping mechanisms such as excessive spending, drinking, and generally taking more risks than usual. The lyrics display the liberating feeling of doing what pleases oneself, even when reckless, in attempts to recover from past trauma.
