Summary
The Dice is a hovering mob that naturally appears in Casino Halls (Obstacles 1, 3 & 5) and Jacksplot's Domain. It can also be spawned by the DiceLord and Jacksplot 7. It can shoot lasers at unlucky survivors. In a case of double jeopardy, upon its death, whatever number the Dice rolls will be the radius of which blocks are destroyed. For example, a six rolled will mean a six radius of blocks destroyed. This means that the Dice is deadly when alive and dead.
Background Story
Nobody really knows what's the deal with these guys. They don't seem lethal at first with their slow and inaccurate lasers. However, in twisted fate, it rolled and landed with death.
At first, nobody knew how to deal with these guys. Everybody still had war mentality. Then, quite by chance, one survivor realised that the best way was pacifism. Strange really. During an apocalypse, that's not really the first idea that you come up with.
Tips
- The lasers shot by the Dice can be easily avoided due to their inaccuracy.
- Even if you are hit, you can use a healing item, like the Raspberry Splush.
- Even when disposed of in the void, the Dice can still roll a number which will make terrain blocks fall, even though you cannot see the Dice.
- During the initial stages of Casino Halls, the best approach with the Dice is to just leave them alone.
- Killing them may result in a large chunk of the terrain disappearing, which is not ideal in the narrow corridors at the start of the Quest.
- Once you progress to Obstacle 4, all previous Dice will be killed and they will no longer spawn. As a bonus, they will not be able to roll a number.
- Since you can collide with the Dice, they may get in the way of the obby during Casino Halls. As they rarely move, you may be forced to kill them.
- You have to use the Dice's lasers in Casino Halls to destroy the green wall in The Killing Hall.
- To do this, make sure that you reach the wall, so that they hit the wall.
- During Jacksplot's Domain, try to kill the Dice as soon as possible.
- However, try not to kill the Dice when a player is near them as the terrain will fall beneath them.
- The Flamethrower can easily wipe out hordes of Dice.
- The Boo Buster can also be used. An added bonus is that you can manipulate which number can be rolled, so you can try to roll a low number.
Trivia
- While there is a Dice item, it looks nothing like the mob.
- This is actually incorrectly named. The singular term for Dice is Die.
- However, the name is probably Dice as Die is a moderated word by ROBLOX.
- Although the Dice is able to move, it rarely does so, even when it is attacking a player.
- Due to a modelling error, the Dice and DiceLord can sometimes block bullets.
- Only April Fools' joke from King Cheese Celebration to make it in-game.
- The Dice would then later go on to be used in April Fools 2020, with April Fools 2020 being the origins for Jacksplot 7.
- Both the April Fools Dice and the Dice mob use the same exact mesh.
