Significant events
March
- 9 - The evening's Monday Night Raw episode airing from Capitol One Arena in Washington, D.C., is the last live, ticketed-fan event hosted by WWE until WrestleMania 37 in April 2021, due to the fast emerging COVID-19 pandemic. Beginning with the following Friday's episode of SmackDown (which was originally scheduled to take place at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, Michigan), events took place at various studios in Florida, beginning with the WWE Performance Center in Orlando. - 16 – WWE announces that WrestleMania 36 would be held at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, with only "essential personnel" in attendance, The WWE Hall of Fame ceremony would be postponed, as well as NXT Takeover: Tampa Bay; all other WrestleMania events were cancelled. Two days later, WWE announces a two-day format for WrestleMania, to take place April 4-5.
