- 27: Frank Gotch defeats Tom Jenkins in Bellingham, Washington to win the American Freestyle title for the first of three times. Jenkins won the first fall, with the second fall going to Gotch after Jenkins suffered a broken rib. Gotch took the third fall via disqualification after Jenkins swung a closed fist in a desperate attempt to defend the injury.
- 30: George Hackenschmidt wins the British world title from Ahmed Madrali, one of the original "Terrible Turks," in London. Hack won after just six seconds when Madrali suffered a dislocated arm.
