Kasai Mitsuki (菓彩みつき)? is a minor character from Delicious Party♡Pretty Cure. He is Yuan's younger twin brother and Amane's older brother. He works at Fruit Parlor KASAI.
Bio
Appearance
Mitsuki has gray hair and dark indigo eyes. He also has a beauty mark beneath his left eye. He wears a black T-shirt under a buttoned up light gray-blue shirt with black jeans and dark brown shoes. When he's at work, he also wears a mint colored apron that has pink straps, and an image of fruits with the word "KASAI" on the front.
Personality
Mitsuki is a sweet and friendly boy. He has a habit of winking when he is talking. Like Yuan, his twin brother, he cares about Amane and can be very protective towards her.
Relationships
- Kasai Yuan: His older twin brother. They get along well and are always seen together, except when Yuan is practicing karate.
- Kasai Amane: His younger sister who he looks out for.
Etymology
Kasai (菓彩)?: Ka (菓)? can mean many things, such as "candy", "cakes" and "fruit"[1]. Sai (彩)? simply means "color", "paint" and "make-up"[2].
Mitsuki (みつき)?: "Mitsu" (みつ)? can come from "anmitsu" (餡蜜)?, a traditional Japanese dessert made from fruits. The "Mitsu" (蜜)? in "anmitsu" means "syrup".
History
Mitsuki first appeared alongside his twin brother, Yuan, when the girls visited their house to see Amane. Since the girls were unable to meet Amane at that time, Mitsuki offered them the Crystal Sugar Bottles. He also introduced himself to the girls after Kokone expressed curiosity about who he and his brother were.DPPC13
One afternoon, when he is working at Fruit Parlor KASAI, the girls visit them again. Mitsuki greets them, and shows them where Amane is before going back to work.DPPC17
It is revealed by Amane that Mitsuki once had a fight with Yuan when the three siblings were younger, due to him having to share the same birthday cake with Yuan which didn't align with their preferences. Mitsuki is the one who apologizes to his embarrassed sister when Yuan admits they know what Amane is doing. When Narcistoru steals their memories, he and Yuan almost get into a fight, but they make up after they regain their memories and happily enjoy the different birthday cakes with their sister and her friends.DPPC19
Both Mitsuki and Yuan are invited to Restaurant Du Lac by Rosemary, complimenting the girls as well. Together, they then dance with their sister.DPPC20
When Princess Maira visits, Mitsuki and his brother serve a parfait to the girls and Rosemary. While introducing the parfait, his carefree antics with his brother embarrasses Amane.DPPC31
At the school's cultural festival, Mitsuki and his brother decide to help Moe, but without much progress, until they get Narcistoru to help them. Both brothers, along with Moe, then give him the candied apple Amane had made, and are happy when Narcistoru enjoys it. DPPC37
