Appearance

CooKing is a man of short stature with curly white hair and a mustache, his eyes are pink in color. He is dressed in a red coat with a white fluffy trim, and two tiny pink hearts held together by a gold thread. He also wears a white frilly dress shirt, a brown belt with a gold buckle, round pants in two different shades of blue, white tights, and brown shoes. On his head, he wears a white and gold crown with a blue fork and spoon on the front.

CooKing is a serious man who also has a goofy side.

Etymology

CooKing comes from the words "cook" and "king". His name is also a pun of the word "cooking".

History

CooKing sends Rosemary on a mission to take back the Recipe-Bon.^DPPC01 The next day, CooKing uses the Heart Cure Watch to communicate with Rosemary and Nagomi Yui. There, he tells them that the Omurice Recipepe is safe.^DPPC02

Throughout the season, CooKing and his wife usually communicate with the Cures and Rosemary from CooKingdom.

CooKing is dragged by CooQueen to check out the glow at the altar. He wakes up when he finally realizes the altar is indeed creating something. To their surprise, a crystal heart comes out of the altar instead of a usual Energy Fairy. Both CooKing and CooQueen later report this new discovery to the team and give them the crystal. ^DPPC17 He, along with his wife and Fennel, later meet Kasai Amane for the first time and learn a bit about the Bundoru Gang, and he encourages her to keep up with her new duty as Cure Finale.^DPPC19

CooKing gets to meet the Cures in-person, and is fine with Yui and Ran's enthusiasm. He and his wife are grateful of the girls' help but he is surprised to learn that Kome-Kome has the power to travel between worlds. He and his wife thank the girls again for saving the Recipepes and decide to strengthen the kingdom's security before the group leaves.^DPPC29

CooKing, along with CooQueen, is held captive by the Mini Spiritorus and Spiritoru on behalf of Godatz' orders.^DPPC41 He and the rest of CooKingdom are devastated to learn that Fennel has betrayed them.^DPPC43 Fortunately, he, along with his wife and the rest of CooKingdom, is saved after Narcistoru shuts down Spiritoru.^DPPC44

In the end, CooKing thanks the Cures, Cinnamon, and Rosemary for their contributions, as well as apologizing to Cinnamon, entrusting the Energy Fairies with the Recipe-Bon, and hosting a celebration for them.^DPPC45
