Smash Run is a mode appearing in Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS. It involves fighters having travel in a large maze-like map, fighting enemies along the way; five of the enemies are Pokémon: Chandelure, Cryogonal, Gastly, Koffing, and Petilil. Fighters can collect stat boosts while fighting enemies, and this can increase either attack power, special attack power, jumping, or movement speed, or sometimes even all of them.
After five minutes, players are shown their final stats, courtesy of the stat boosts they collected, and they are pitted in one of several modes, where they have to fulfill the given conditions to win; some of these conditions involve the Pokémon enemies.
