Mat Block (Japanese: たたみがえし, Hepburn: Tatami Flip) is a Fighting-type move introduced in Generation VI. Prior to Generation VII, it was the signature move of Greninja.
Effect
It protects the user and its ally from all the damaging moves. However, it can't protect them from status moves. It is a priority move that only works if it is the first move used after being sent into battle.
