Tengu is a Category I Kaiju that attacked Osaka on April 12, 2019.^[1][2]

Biology

Tengu is a web-laced Kaiju that is extremely agile and capable of jumping long distances.^[2]

History

Osaka Incident

Tengu arrives on the coast of Osaka and encounters Coyote Tango, but the Jaeger is unable to contain the Kaiju, who flees using its agility and leaps. The creature heads towards the city along the northern coastline where it is finally intercepted by Crimson Typhoon and Cherno Alpha, who after a fight suffers serious damage from the Mark-1's Incinerator Turbines and is killed by the Chinese Mark-4.^[2]

Trivia

• Tengu is the Kaiju identified as OS-19 in the combat dossier of Cherno Alpha and Crimson Typhoon.^[3][4]
