— G5 to Child Emperor[1] |
G5 (G5, Gī Go) was a Machine God battle robot created by The Organization[2] and was a member of the Monster Association. It was destroyed by Genos.[3]
Appearance
In its initial form, G5 was a large cybernetic robot resembling a samurai. It wore shiny metallic armor with broad shoulder pads and spiked claws on its forearms. Its face was concealed by a mask with a single glowing eye visible through a narrow slit. A helmet adorned with spike-like accessories and a crescent moon rested on its head. Markings resembling "X=" ran down its shoulder pads and body.
G5's true form was a smaller robot with black plating and a more rounded design. Its dome-shaped head seamlessly merged with its chest structure, featuring a slit for eyes. The body had large shoulders, exposed mechanical joints, and four-fingered hands.
Personality
G5 had a straightforward yet secretive nature, speaking only when necessary or when asking a question. It generally minded its own business but contributed thoughts when they were beneficial to the situation.
Loyal to The Organization, G5 followed orders to cooperate with the Monster Association and never disclosed any information about its true allegiance. As a robot, it operated rationally rather than impulsively, suggesting the strategic use of Narinki's Private Squad as an asset instead of eliminating them.
It displayed some intolerance toward certain monsters, questioning Gyoro Gyoro about whether monsters were permitted to kill one another, particularly criticizing Royal Ripper's hostility toward allies. G5 also appeared prideful and confident, believing it could defeat Atomic Samurai after replicating the swordmaster's techniques.

Human Monster Saga
Monster Association Arc
While en route to join the Monster Association on behalf of The Organization, G5 coincidentally encounters Narinki's Private Squad, captures them, and delivers them to the Monster Association. When questioned by Gyoro Gyoro about its identity, G5 states that The Organization sent it to join the Monster Association, likely to assist in bringing down the Hero Association. However, when Gyoro Gyoro inquires about The Organization, G5 remains silent.
As the Monster Association deliberates over what to do with the mercenaries, G5 intervenes, persuading Gyoro Gyoro to use them as expendable soldiers due to their special battle suits. Gyoro Gyoro agrees, and Do-S enslaves them with her abilities.
Later, G5 comes across Royal Ripper and The Great Food Tub as they argue over Tareo. To pacify The Great Food Tub, G5 casually tosses a nearby monster into its mouth. Noticing G5 carrying something, Royal Ripper inquires about it, to which G5 responds that it is a personal collection hobby. The item turns out to be the severed head of a Metal Knight combat unit that had followed Elder Centipede back to the monster hideout. G5 explains that it kept the head as a "precious sample" for dismantling and thorough analysis.[4]

During the S-Class heroes' invasion of the Monster Association Headquarters, G5 encounters Child Emperor and Waganma after destroying the former's Radio-Controlled Sentry. Child Emperor attempts to neutralize G5 with his Enemy Machine Disabling Device: Bug Basket Kun, but G5 remains unaffected and swiftly destroys it.[5] G5 then engages in battle with the newly combined Underdog Man, Mad Dog Underdog Cerberus, while being hindered by Child Emperor's birdlime missiles. As the battle rages on, Child Emperor and Waganma manage to escape.[6]

After defeating Underdog Cerberus, G5 encounters Atomic Samurai and reveals that it has copied his Atomic Slash, challenging him to a fight. Despite wielding two swords and using the hero's signature technique, G5 is completely outmatched. Atomic Samurai effortlessly slices its armor into pieces, though G5 manages to escape.[7]
G5 later reappears, shooting off Sekingar's hand with a laser blast to prevent him from contacting the Hero Association. Emerging from its damaged shell, G5 leaps at Sekingar but is swiftly destroyed when Genos suddenly appears and crushes it underfoot.[8]
Abilities and Powers
As a Demon-level threat and a Machine God like G4, G5 was a powerful Mysterious Being. As an upgraded version of its predecessor, it was significantly stronger.[9] Despite being classified as a Demon-level monster, its advanced design made it immune to Child Emperor's technology, with the hero himself stating that defeating it would take considerable effort.[10] However, G5 was not strong enough to compete with Atomic Samurai, who easily defeated it.[11]
Robotic Abilities
Immense Strength: As a Demon-level threat, G5 possessed remarkable strength. It effortlessly destroyed Child Emperor's device with a single swing and was strong enough to defeat Mad Dog Underdog Cerberus, a fusion of three Underdog Mans, without sustaining any noticeable damage.
Immense Speed and Reflexes: G5 had quick reaction speed, swiftly extending its arm to grab a nearby monster and throw it into The Great Food Tub's mouth as a substitute meal. Its core also managed to escape after Atomic Samurai destroyed its external body.
Immense Durability: G5 was completely unaffected by a trap device specifically designed by Child Emperor to disable machines. It also withstood combat against Mad Dog Cerberus, one of Child Emperor's most powerful creations, without taking any apparent damage. While its outer body was obliterated by Atomic Samurai's Atomic Slash, its inner core remained unharmed.
Technique Mimicry: G5 could analyze an opponent's fighting style and replicate their abilities. This skill was enhanced by its double-jointed limbs, allowing it to execute techniques that would normally be impossible due to the limitations of standard limbs.
Double-Jointed Limbs: G5's flexible limbs provided an extended range of motion, enabling unconventional attack angles with its sword. It could also extend its arms several meters.[12]
Simulation and Prediction: G5 could model an opponent's attacks and simulate potential outcomes based on collected data. However, its predictions were flawed if the opponent concealed their true power, as seen with Atomic Samurai.
Laser Beams: As a last resort, G5's core could fire laser beams. It attempted to execute Atomic Samurai with this attack, but the hero effortlessly sliced the beam in half.
Telescopic Vision (Bouen, 望遠): G5 had enhanced long-distance vision, allowing it to observe Food Battler Futoshi escaping with Waganma.[9]
Fighting Style
Expert Swordsman: While G5's full combat abilities remain unknown, it is likely skilled in swordsmanship, as it wields a pair of katanas. It can also mimic the fighting styles of others, demonstrated when it copied Atomic Samurai's techniques.
- Flash Attack: A technique G5 copied from Atomic Samurai after observing his battle against several monsters and Sword Devil Executioner.

- Atomic Slash Two Sword Style (アトミック斬二刀流, Atomikku Zan Nitōryū; Viz: Atomic Slash Two-Blade Style): After witnessing Atomic Samurai use Atomic Slash in battle, G5 attempted to replicate the technique with two swords. However, it failed to match the hero, likely because Atomic Samurai had not used the full extent of his technique against the other monsters, or G5 simply lacked the speed and proficiency to execute it perfectly.
Equipment
- Katanas: G5 was equipped with two katanas.
- Claws: G5 was equipped with two claws in each of its hands.
