Jang Kyu-Jin (Hangul: 장규진), better known as her stage name Kyujin (Hangul: 규진) is a South Korean singer under JYP Entertainment. She is the main dancer and the youngest member of the girl group NMIXX.

Career

Predebut

Jang Kyujin was born in Bundanggu, Seongnam, Gyeonggido, South Korea on May 26, 2006. She has an older brother named Jang Boom-hyuk, who was born in September 18, 2004. She attended Nakwon Middle School and majored in entertainment in Hanlim Multi Arts School.

Kyujin was a student at Withbill Dance Academy and joined JYP Entertainment through an audition held there in 2018.^[2] She sang Taeyeon's "Fine" as her audition song.^[3]

Kyujin appeared in JYP Trainee Mini Showcase 2018 alongside Lily, Haewon, and Jinni, JYP Trainee Mini Showcase 2019 alongside Lily, Haewon, Jinni, Bae, and Jiwoo.^[4]

On August 6, 2021, Kyujin, along with Jinni and Jiwoo, were revealed as the first three members of NMIXX through a dance performance video.^[5]

2022-Present: Debut with NMIXX

Kyujin officially debuted with the group on February 22, 2022 with the single album AD MARE.

Pets

Kyujin has a pet cat called Jaejae.
