Nifl is a Manakete in Fire Emblem Heroes. She is a member of the Ice dragon tribe that serves as the patron deity of the Kingdom of Nifl. Inhabitants of said kingdom often worship her in various rituals.
History
Nifl shares her name with the Kingdom of Nifl, which is under her divine protection. As such she is probably older than the kingdom itself as it was most likely named after her, which isn't that strange given the enormous lifespan dragon are shown to have.
She is first named during the story of Book II. In order to dispatch the flames of the Kingdom of Múspell, princess Fjorm of Nifl invoke the deity and offers her flesh and Breidablik to Nifl in order to perform the Rite of Frost. Breidablik is infused with Nifl's power and the ability to defeat Sutr but it greatly reduce Fjorm's lifespan as a sacrifice.
Nifl first appear in person during the Ice and flame 1 Tempest Trial. There she appears before Fjorm and after a brief discussion about Fjorm's eventual demise, Nifl tell her that she hasn't come to take her life but that she wants her to fight the Fire Dragon Múspell if she wants to live.
