Mama Bear is part of the bear family on Sesame Street originally known as the Three Bears, now the four bears. She is married to Papa Bear, and together they are the parents of Baby Bear and Curly Bear.
In season 49, she formed her own band, Mama Bear and the Monsters (as the drummer), which later served as the house band for the first season of The Not-Too-Late Show with Elmo.
Notes
- The puppet originally had brown curly hair, but in season 35, she was given straight blonde hair instead.
- Stephanie D'Abruzzo performed the character in Episode 3837.
