SCENE 1 | Telly comes back with a solution to Ruthie's "problem": first he explains that he imagined he was the one Ruthie was going to meet today, and how angry he would be if she forgot. As a result, Telly has put a ribbon around his own wrist to remind Ruthie of her ribbon! Everything seems fine, until Telly wonders what would happen if he forgot to look at his own ribbon. Carlo passes by and Telly enlists his help. |

Carlo reluctantly does so, and Telly asks him afterward why he's wearing the ribbon; Carlo is able to recall what it's for, to Telly's relief. |

Though everyone was able to remember the appointment at the right time, Ruthie realizes that she forgot the food! She runs off to get it while Elmo remembers to announce the sponsors, as well as the status of Slimey's spaceship. |
