S is the 19th letter of the English alphabet. It has been depicted as a Muppet character, on occasion.

It was one of the very first sponsors of Sesame Street: it sponsored the first episode, along with E, W, 2, and 3. S begins such words as sheep, superheroes, sandwich, and school.
