SCENE 1 Monty greets the viewer from his room at The Furry Arms Hotel. He gives a demonstration of "open" and "closed" by playing his boombox and driving away his neighbor (Kevin Clash), who is seen closing his open window before opening and closing the closet, the drawers, his suitcase, and finally the room door (all with Monty narrating).
